What do you think to change the log-file (.elf) file format from
plain-text to pure XML, so to can include all files and data into a
single file?
The EurekaLog Viewer will decode the XML file to allow you to view the
screenshot and download the custom attached files.
The only negative point is that without the EurekaLog Viewer will be
impossible open the file.

I think that would definitely be the best thing.
The only question is, what kind of licence is the EL Viewer under? If
would be good if even at a customer's site, it were possible to
double-click on a EL log and get the EL viewer. So as long as the EL
Viewer is freely distributable, that would be great.
Besides, even without the EL viewer, XML files can be understood by IE,
so the contents can conveniently be viewed in a structured form.

A Very good Idea but don't forget to make a XSLT Stylesheet which
produce the 'old text' format and optionnaly another which produce HTML.
I hope that LogText stays as plain text.
Sent email may contain redundant data when both sndSendEntireLog and sndSendScreenshot are used in CommonSendOption and XML will have embedded screenshots. I think noone wants to much binary data in emails :)

Hi Fabio,
I like the idea of an XML-based log-file. However, I think it would be
advisable to support a plain text version as well

No thanks.
You can already send everything in a single tar.gz file. Why not let the
viewer open such a file, and display the screenshot found in the archive?

Yes, probably it's the best solution! :)
