View Full Version : Can't view "old" .elf files

I have just upgraded to 5.0.5 (Viewer 2.0.4), and since I did, I am unable to open the .elf files that come back from my customers, whose applications are compiled with the previous version.
IMHO backward compatibilty should be maintained at any cost.
Kind regards

It's really strange, because the 5.0.5 it's full compatibles with the
previous version.
Try the last EurekaLog 5.0.6 RC 6 and if the problem persists the send
to me the incriminate .ELF file, ok? :)

The ELF I attached came from a customer, when I ran my program locally on my PC to generate the error everything was OK i.e. the Viewer worked fine with the my local ELF file. I'm wondering is it somthing to do with the ELF file being emailed to me. It's not very important to me as I usually view the ELF as a Text file anyway.
I just came across this Thread as I was looking for the latest Viewer in case mine was old. ( BTW where is the downloadable Viewer usually )

The Viewer is released into the EurekaLog installer, so the last Viewer
is present in the last EurekaLog 5.0.6 RC 6 version! :)
