Must we upgrade to a new major release, or will this version also be
available to those of us who use the version of today?

Good news to hear! I plan to move my Delphi projects to BDS 2006 as soon as 5.0.7 is ready.

I hope you are not dug down in the same installation problems as I am :-) I
can't get it accepting the default packages like Controls, (only Windows and
two others are accepted as known) except including the path to the sources
for those files, but then it start compiling also the default components.
And the component variants stop the all saying it recursively call itself
:-(
Funny enough, the Pro version also behave different from Architect
Educational :-)

Hope to see the units very soon since all my projects are using it.

Hello,

is it possibly to enable or to do a workaround that Eurekalog / 5.07 RC1 installs into D2006. When exactly will D2006 Version be available ? - I need to ship a new Version and can not roll back to an earlier Delphi Version - And it is definitly a better feeling to ship a new version with eurekalog than without it ... :)

thanks, helmut

The EurekaLog 5.1 RC 1 with BDS 2006 full support (Delphi 2006 and
C++Builder 2006) is out.

Test it please! :)

I installed 5.1 RC 1 and compiled 4 projects. I've experienced zero problems so far. Granted I don't use all the features of EurekaLog but of the ones I use everything works fine and as expected. Nice work!

I tested with Borland Developer Studio 2006 Professional Edition using the Delphi Win32 personality.
