View Full Version : Cannot get 6.0.17 to install correctly.

Earlier today, I had a major .NET failure and had to reinstall all .NET
libraries. That was successful. When testing RAD Studio 2007 for my
project, everything loaded ok except Eurekalog. I tried reinstalling both
6.0.16 and 6.0.17 and in both cases the install says it is successful but it
does not show up when loading either the Delphi 2007 personality or the full
Studio personality.

I can go to installed packages and scroll down to see Eurekalog in the list
but it is not checked. If I check it, then my Palette has the icon, but I
cannot save it to the project and have it reappear. Also, when Delphi is
started up, there is no menu item unter Projects to set the parameters for
Eurekalog. Somehow, the installer is not finishing what it starts and it
is not getting installed correctly.

I tried the manual uninstall from Add/Remove programs and deleted the
folder, still no good. No change.

What do I need to do to get Eurekalog running again?

Thanks

John

Hi,

try to do this:

1)...Close all opened Delphi/C++Builder instances;
2)...Deinstall all installed EurekaLog versions;
3)...Remove all folders containing the ExceptionLog.* or ?ExceptionExpert.* files;
4)...download and install the last EurekaLog version;
5)...restart your PC.

I'm waiting to your feedback as soon as possible, ok? :)
