Error installing/loading add-in

Hi,

I'm getting an error when installing 6.0.16 for VS.

Error appears during install (and if i Choose "Nej" (danish for "No")) it also appears during startup of Visual Studio 2008

Any suggestions?

Hi Lars T,

I expect the error is due to trying to install from a network share. Can you copy the installation locally and try installing from there. If your home directory is located on the server then try using the instructions located here:

I see your point, but I have no way of controlling installpath (as company-policy dictates my Documents-folder to reside on a network-share...), and I can't choose install-path during installation procedure.

Manually moving AddIn to a localfolder doesn't seem to do the whole trick, but I think I'm a step closer...

(Sorry if this turns out to be a trivial Visual Studio option, I'm primarily familiar with Delphi, and in the process of examining the process of migrating to Visual Studio - and as we are very happy with our existing Eurekalog Enterprise for Delphi I thought I would start by looking at the VS-edition ;-)

Hi Lars,

That latest problem is a known issue with VS2008 (security related) and will be fixed in the next version.
