Hi!
While testing EurekaLog 6.5 beta 8 for VS I hit a problem that the logviewer (3.0.8) cannot open the *.elf files produced by the beta. If needed, I can send an example log file.
Best regards,
Dmitry

Hi.
Yes, you should post an example here.
Thank you very much for the feedback.

Hi,
can you send a little source demo able to reproduce this log, please?
We aren't able to reproduce it with a simple test project.

Hello,
I just created a new project in VS 2008 (.NET 2.0) and enabled EurekaLog.
Also, it shows this in the log:
Application:
--------------------------------------------------------
1.1 Start Date : Mon, 27 Apr 2009 19:36:51 +-0500
1.2 Name/Description: EurekaLog.dll
1.3 Version Number : 1.0.0.0
1.4 Parameters :
1.5 Compilation Date: Tue, 21 Apr 2009 17:22:36 +-0500
1.6 Up Time : 3 minutes, 38 seconds
It seems, in this section there should be the information about the running application main module but not about EurekaLog.dll.
Take care,
Dmitry

Hi,
yes I think to have solved all (or at least many) of the beta 8 issues (included these).
I hope to can release the next beta 9 tomorrow, OK? :)

Hello,
It seems, everything is working fine now:
- the reports (produced with beta 9) can be open in LogViewer
- no ICSharpCode types exported
- proper module name in reports
The only minor thing is Microsoft.VisualBasic.dll reference from EurekaLog.dll. This is not critical but would be nice to remove this dependency in the future builds for easier install experience.
Best regards,
Dmitry

we have removed this last dependence in the beta 10.

Hello,
Thanks, the reference is there no more. The only thing is that the version number of EurekaLog.dll is still from beta 9 - 6.4.99.9.
Best regards,
Dmitry

Hi slabko,
we have just released a private beta 11.
From this beta we will use a Visual Studio AddIn able to make automatic version number increment at every project build.
Try it and tell back to me your results, OK? :)
