Sending mails problem !

Hello
I have the latest version version of EurekaLog,
I have a problem, i want to send the bugerror directrly to my inbox with EurekaLog, but it doesn't work, I tested with SMTP Client, Server also.
I entered the correct details.

I'm working with Hotmail, so smtp.live.com at port 25

I tested also with GMail and Yahoo! Mail, not working too !

Can you help me please :confused:


And : How can I use Mantis, i created an account, but could use it with EL, it says me "Invalid login request", an idea ?

Hi,

Unfortunately, it looks like those e-mail servers require you to use SSL for e-mail connections, which is not supported by EurekaLog, sorry.

You either need to find other e-mail server or use different send method.

About one year ago there was possibility to send e-mails via GMail by using SMTP server mode (I'm not sure about hotmail). But now it looks like this possibility is now closed.
