Good morning,

well this is a very strange problem. You can start the application - say 5
out of 6 times.
Then the application suddenly freezes on startup. It's an MDI application.
As soon as the first
MDI-Child Window is created it not responding anymore. I can say, that this
happends more
often using Windows 2003 Terminal Server. But it also happens useing Windows
2000 Workstation
or Windows XP - but not so often. As soon, as you turn off Eureka Log
everything is okay.
There is no error log no expection nothing. There only think you can do is
to kill the application.

If anybody can help ...

Thanks

Nils

Can you create a source demo able to reproduce it?

If you want I can connect with your PC using our remote support tool, so
to can definitely check the problem on your PC, ok?

To allow me to connect directly with your PC you must only download and
run our remote control tool
(http://www.eurekalog.com/files/EurekaLog_Remote_Support.exe).

It is only a simple TCP client, working on the HTTPS ports, so it works
with any firewall and local network configuration.

Any news on this? I am having similar problems. At first I thought it was with EXECryptor since that was a major change I did when I updated to EurekaLog 5.1.11. However, some further testing seems to indicate the problems I though I was having with EXECryptor are with EurekaLog 5.1.11.

I have not only received reports of my application not responding, but also crashes. I have experienced this myself and EurekaLog does not appear. Sometimes the app just disappears.

Still waiting on this... Several users are reporting not responding/freezing issues. What should I do? Is this a EurekaLog problem? Should I go back to 5.1.10 or use 5.1.12 RC 4?

I wish I could but I don't think I could, or at least not without spending a lot of time on it. It's something that I think will be difficult to reproduce. I think I'll try going back to 5.1.10 and see if my users have better luck.
