View Full Version : Possible RC6 Issue.

Hi Fabio,
Running D7Pro + SP1. Windows CP Pro + SP2.
I have two issues.
1. For some reason yet to be determined, I am getting a "System Error. Code:
1400" message when I loaf up a project. This seems to be System/OS based so I
have to chase that. Any ideas/suggestions welcome.
2. Related to Eurekalog v6 RC6. Not sure if it happened with prior RCs but it
certainly does now. When i go into the above mentioned projects with Eurekalog
v 5 installed I get the Windows error message, click OK, it goes away, and all
continues OK. With v 6 RC6, I get the error message, I click OK then the
computer sits there repeating the error message and nothing else responds to
the keyboard/mouse on the computer except for this error box and nothing else
happens within Delphi. No project, no further windows, nothing.
I have had to go back to v5 for now.
If it is any help I do have the full DevExpress VCL suite installed.
Regards,
Ian

I need a project able to reproduce this bug, otherwise I cannot solve it.

OK. It will have to wait att as I am in the middle of a Customer Job. All
working fine under v5, except for the aforementioned System Error which I don't
believe is a Eurekalog issue in itself.

Example sent. Apologies, I don't know where I got RC6 from as I only have RC5.

Hi Fabio,
I still have the same issue as before with this release. V6 handles System
Errors when loading a project different to v5 which results in NOT being able
to do anything with the computer.
Yes it is my issue that I am getting the System Errors when loading a Project
but it would seem that there is something changed in EurekaLog between V5 & V6
that prevents me getting past the System Error.
This is a show stopper for me using V6.

Ian

If you want I can connect with your PC using our remote support tool, so
to can definitely check the problem on your PC, ok?
To allow me to connect directly with your PC you must only download and
run our remote control tool
(http://www.eurekalog.com/files/EurekaLog_Remote_Support.exe).
It is only a simple TCP client, working on the HTTPS ports, so it works
with any firewall and local network configuration.
